Hey there. I’m here to let you know that I haven’t abandoned Beef Suplex Gaming. The last couple of months have been hard to find games that interested me that I could actually get some media of since I don’t have a capture card to record console gameplay.

In the PC market, there’s been a steady stream of indie games, but the games and updates I’m looking forward to for the second half of 2022 are:

• F1® Manager 2022 by Frontier Developments
• Hitman 3 Freelancer Mode Update by IO Interactive
• Two Point Campus by Two Point Studios

F1® Manager 2022

F1 Manager 2022 (FM22) is the newest title coming from Frontier Developments. FM22 looks very much like it will be a more detailed Motorsport Manager that launched in 2016 by Sega and Playsport Games. There is some speculation as to if FM22 will include as much detail/customization options as was allowed in Motorsport Manager. Right off the bat, you can expect it to not have GT or Prototype cars. I’ll miss managing a GT team.

I’m expecting a more refined simulation of driver abilities that have more dynamic races. One of the biggest issues I had with Motorsport Manager was that “events” seemed arbitrary and were unpredictable (except for part reliability issues). It is currently unclear whether the game will launch with a Create Your Own Team mode or if you are stuck doing like they have you doing in modern Madden games. You pick an existing franchise and then you do what you want.

Hitman 3 Freelancer Mode

As I mentioned in the previous news post, Hitman 3’s Freelancer Mode is expected to launch sometime in H2 2022. I’m looking forward to this new game mode as I feel it will give some form of life/purpose to the game after you’re done mastering the levels. The more hardcore mechanics such as dropped guns have to be picked up before leaving the level if you want to keep it for future missions sounds interesting. I still haven’t seen any news regarding up updated release date, but, assuming 2022 is still the target, it’ll launch within the next 5 months.

Two Point Campus

Following up on their previous game, Two Point Hospital, Two Point Studios are releasing Two Point Campus. As the name implies, you’re managing a secondary education facility. The biggest improvement being added over Two Point Hospital is the ability to make custom-sized buildings. In TPH, your expansion was confined to existing building space you had to purchase.
