HITMAN 3: Freelancer Mode Delayed to H2 2022

On May 5th, IO Interactive gave an update on their HITMAN 3 Year Two roadmap. With it came news that Freelancer mode will be delayed until H2 2022 to give additional time to ensure the feature is a success.
Freelancer mode, if you’re unaware, is an expansion to the player’s interaction with the World of Assassination™. This mode includes a customizable player safe house where you plan your assassinations/missions and accept contracts. It also adds a hardcore twist to the game in that if you drop an item in the world and exit the level without it, it’s gone.
