Following immense player outcry, and review bombing, on Steam, Sony announced on May 6 in a tweet that the plans for required PSN and Steam account linking for Helldivers 2 is not moving forward. This is welcoming news as there where a myriad of issues revolving around what that was going to entail for players. Chief among them was the fact that a PSN account could not be created in some regions where the game was sold.
