Summary
The 2023 Game Awards was a major disappointment for Sony as they received no awards while Xbox/Microsoft and Nintendo went on to win at least 3 awards each. Kojima announced a new project, OD, that he described as an artistic expression. Fortnite unveiled two new game modes: Lego Fortnite and Fortnite Rocket Racing. SEGA is in the process of developing several new videos games based on classics. Apex Legends is getting a Final Fantasy VII Remake crossover event here in the coming days. A live-action Fallout adaptation from Amazon Prime is also in the works. A lot of the newly announced and soon to release games outlined at the end of this article looked promising and would be something I’d pick up to play.
